Description
Students will learn how to implement perimeter defenses, configure firewalls (such as pfSense and Cisco ASA), and design secure network topologies. The course includes VPN setup (IPSec and SSL), security zones, DMZ configuration, and basic intrusion detection systems (IDS). Emphasis is placed on real-world use cases and hands-on labs. By the end, students will be able to secure a network environment and apply best practices in threat prevention and access control.
